How the app works- Once the doctor has installed this app it will allow his patients to take appointment using SMS. They need not even have a smart phone to take an appointment. Patient would just need to send SMS and their appointment will be booked. The patient will get the token number and can get current status of token by sending the SMS.
The app takes care to allow a mixed mode. That is if you have visitors coming through your existing system, be it directly or using phone whichever way it is. The app allows you to create blocks
1. For appointments User would need to SMS your number as – drap
2. For current status drcu.
3. To know the commands if the forget sms HELP.
4. The main screen will show the list of patients who have taken the appointment.
5. Next Button – Use this once you have attended the patient and you are ready to attend the next one. This refreshes the list.
6. Previous Button – Use this only in case you want to move back the current token.
7. Block Tokens – The intention is to accommodate people who come directly without SMS appointment.
8. Auto Block – This will add selected number as block in the beginning of the session. It will also add a block in case you are done with last patient in the list and new appointment comes in. This is because the immediate slot can’t be given to patient because of travel time required.
9. Manual Block – In case you want to block few places manually you can add by typing the number and pressing block button.
10. Percentage block – Auto blocks using percentage. So if the pattern is in every 10 patients 3 are co1ming directly without Sms appointment then set it to 30.
11. SMS is chargeable as per your plan with Service provider. There are direct costs applicable on outgoing SMS. App has no relation with the costs in form of SMS.
Settings
1. Average time per person- Enter the average time required per patient. This is a important input for percentage block calculation.
2. Set Session timings – Select the session for which you need to set.
3. Start Time - Set the time from which you want to allow users to book appointment for the session. It is not advisable to keep the time too different than actual time of the session as user might get Token number 3 but it will not move for an hour since you were not available.
4. End Time – Set the time after which SMS appointment for the session would not be taken.
Day Session setting – Set the days in the week when you have the session. Like Session one is only on Mon, Wed, Fri then turn on for those days of the week.
Vacation Setting- Allows users to notify that you are unavailable for certain period if the send SMS to book appointment. The app will send auto response. Please be aware that roaming charges might be applicable based on your plan.
